So a couple of days ago I was wondering what I was going to do when my favourite shows abandoned me at the same time, but then! The premiere of Grimm aired the same night as the finale of Teen Wolf! :D

The universe will always compensate, I guess. And I loved this episode of Grimm really a lot, so I'm more excited that I get more of this than I am disappointed that more Teen Wolf is so far away.

Does this mean summer is over, though? Because I'm not agreeing to that even for new TV.

I'm in the middle of a kinkmeme fill. It's getting a little long, but it isn't going to be long-long.

Stiles is a film student on a mission. A righteous mission! Really, it’s fertile ground for good karma and a healthier recognition in the college film department. (Which completely failed to appreciate his 17 hour drama-mentary about the sexual identity crisis of his pet cactus. Plebs.) But this time with wild life conservation and public enlightenment in his camera sights, Stiles is totally going to Do Good.

...if only the damn wolf would hold still for taping instead of constantly stealing Stiles’ camera equipment. And if only the Hale jerk quit chasing Stiles out of his backyard forest.

I just realised how long it's been since I posted here; honestly, I forget this exists sometimes.

I saw Snow White and the Huntsman tonight, and I think it's the most I've enjoyed a film this year, and so far, this has been a banner year for movies, right?

This will seem silly, but good as it was, the thing I'll probably remember about it is the Irish dwarf, because it is so rare to have an Irish character speak in the vernacular without becoming a caricature.

It isn't perfect--the stuff in the secret garden place was verging on too twee, and the last scene was very badly done. Its gender politics were too traditional for the film that had come before, and it was very oddly and badly directed. Waste of an ending.

But mostly it swept me along like I was a kid seeing Beauty and the Beast for the first time.

Again, all I can do is apologise for the delay, but this is almost done, and I got a wisdom tooth out today and have nothing to do but stay in bed and groan in pain, so medication permitting, it should be finished by tomorrow at the latest.
